With the election coming up and the country in a downward out of control spiral, I wonder how so many people can still vote with the left. It's not a matter of skin color, it's a matter of wanting strong leaders to govern us in a Biblical way. There are just so many things wrong with the lefts views. First, during the DNC they took God out of their platform and only after the media brought it up, did they put a mention of God back in. Yet many, many people said they did not want Him back in, not once, but 3 times. It saddens and sickens me that there are people out there who think that everything they have just appeared. God should always be the center of out lives. I am far from perfect and never claim to be, but I try to live my life for God and know that through Jesus I have salvation.
I struggle with the fact that so many Christians support Obama. Everything that he stands for is so far the opposite from what the Bible tells us is the right way to live. I have people in my family that it just blows my mind that they still stand behind the democrat party. I am in no way judging anyone. I just don't know how, if anyone prayed about who they should vote for, could still vote for the left.
Yes, Jesus wants us to help others, but he also wants us to live our lives to glorify Him. Taking from others, to give to others who in no way want to help themselves is not the way. Charity is a wonderful thing, but it's not supposed to be a way of living. Also, not being educated and just taking others at their word is not only wrong, but it is so scary.
Being politically correct is also condemning this country and causing us to collapse even faster. I feel that everyone deserves a fair chance, but doing it by alienating others is not right. You can't take but so much from people before no one has anything. That is where we are headed if something is not done quickly.
We as a country need to stand together and let the word know that we are strong and we will not be bullied into letting others dictate to us how things should be done. We as Christians need to stand together and let those that govern us, that we will not concede out faith and we will always be faithful to God and He is the ultimate ruler and His word is the word to live by.
I pray that as people vote, they really think about who can govern us as God would want us to be governed. If those that say they are Christians truly listen to God, we will have a new president and we will have a chance of survival.

God and paryer
I can't imagine what the families and victims of the terrible Colorado shooting are going through. My heart goes out to them, and they are in my prayers. This was an inexcusable act by an intelligent man. It was thought out and meant to kill hundreds. There is no way that I could say that he was insane, but he is crazy. For someone to have thought through the process enough to have stock piled an arsenal the way he did, it was pre-meditated murder. Those involved, the citizens of Aurora, the citizens of Colorado and the citizens of the United States will forever be changed.
Something that really bothers me is that in a week or two, the media will down play this and begin to once again listen to the few loud mouth, overbearing people who want to ban prayer and take God out of our lives. I just can't seem to understand how the media can keep talking about praying for the victims and for healing, and then turn around and push the agenda of those who want to take that all away from us. Prayer and God need to be part of our everyday lives, through the good and bad times. God did not cause this horrible act to be done, that was the work of satan. We as Christians have allowed our beliefs to be trampled on, because we didn't want to offend anyone. It's time to take a stand for what is right and to be louder than those who hate us. This happened with the Virginia Tech shootings, Fort Hood, Columbine and the Oklahoma City bombing, as well as the terrorist attack on 9\11. We have prayer vigils for a while, then we let them take prayer out of schools, away from sporting events and every other function that people gather for. We have allowed the government to shut the doors on our religions freedoms by bowing to non-believers. It saddens me that it takes a tragedy to bring people together in prayer. Instead people should just pray and have a relationship with God. I'm by no means saying that those affected didn't have a relationship with God. What I am saying is that it has to be a priority and not a convenience for all. We can not let God get kicked out of our country and our lives.
Stand for what you believe in and make God the priority!!

For Mom
On November 18th my world changed. I stopped by Mom's on the way to work and I knew she wasn't getting any better from the day before. I made sure that she had her phone and was comfortable and covered up to stay warm. A couple hours later I tried to call and it went to voicemail, so I decided to leave work and check on her. When I got there she was worse than the first time I stopped by that day. I called the doctor and we made the decision to go to the hospital. As I tried getting her ready and calling people to let them know, she kept losing strength. I called 911 and before I got off the phone she was already in heaven.
For the next few days my sister and I did what was needed to make Mom proud.
I decided that I wanted to speak at the funeral, which is so not me, I can't stand to be in front a lot of people and especially talk. I was very proud of what I wrote and said about my Mom, so this is it:
Mom was a pillar of strength, love and support.
She lived life to the fullest and always made the best out of every situation. She was always happy, smiling and laughing, from the inside out.
Mom was so giving to everyone in every was.
She was not just a friend, but she was the best friend and was alwys there for you no matter what it may be.
Mom was the strongest person that I may ever know and I hope to be half the person she was.
Mom put her heart and soul into whatever it was that she was doing.
She absolutely loved her grandchildren and was so proud of everything they did.
She was a wonderful mother and taught us that no matter what happens in life that God will get you through it.
She was an amazing sister and a special friend to a very special person.
Her unwavering faith is something that I strive to have.
She was such a bright, happy sould that lifted you up just by her smile.
Mom knew what words to say to heal anyhurt and to shine light into anything dark. Mom was an angel on earth and now she is an angel in heaven and her brightlight will shine through us all forever.
This is not good-bye, but only until we meet again and we know that she will be right there waiting with open arms.
We love you Mom and thank you fro all that you have done for all of us and for showing us unconditional never ending love.
No more tears!!"

The Government Take-over
There are so many things wrong with how our government has handled the past year. It all comes back to the people in office are on a power trip and are getting more and more power hungry everyday. 1st-there should have NEVER been a bank bailout, guess what you let the first one go down and all of the others will fake it and figure out how to get themselves out of the hole that they have dug for their companies. 2nd-the CEO's of these companies many way too much money, but that is the problem of the people who own the stock, they have a vote and they should use it. No one is worth the money that these people get paid, and how do they justify getting a bonus and the have run the company in the ground and lost millions of dollars. 3rd-the government should not have bailed out GM or Chrysler and they still filed bankruptcy, how smart is that. Now the government wants control of the health care industry. They already dictate the drug companies with the FDA. What makes them think that they can be successful at running the health care reform and they cannot even run Medicare, medicare recipients already have to have supplemental insurance, they have bankrupt Medicaid and Social Security. The government is getting its greedy paws in too much private business. They keep saying health care reform, but is it the health care system or the health insurance industry. They will start with one and then slowly take over the other and then take over all aspects of out lives. Our government's responsibility should be to protect our borders and work in our best interest with the rest of the world, instead of selling us down the river and making everything that we have fought for and what our troops have fought for worthless. There is no respect for the American working people. There should be no free hand-outs. We can be a productive, thriving, self sufficient country if our government would do their job and protect us and support us. We need to support our allies, but we do not need to let anyone own us and dictate to us how we should live.
We need to stop this Government take-over of our private lives before it is too late. We need our country back because all of this new "change" isn't working out too well, it's only putting us deeper in debt and more vulnerable to other countries taking us over. We need to get back to our roots and live by the 10 commandments and the Bible.

My view on the economy
My view on the economy is that the media needs to keep out of it. To me is seems that the media likes to keep things in an uproar so they like to over-exaggerate things. I'm not saying that things are not bad, but sometimes the media creates chaos. I also feel that our stock market was so overinflated that it had to regulate itself. We could not go at the growth rate that we were without repercussions.
I also think that high executives over-inflated stock prices to make more money. I'm not really seeing a difference between what the executives at Enron did and the top execs of the companies that are failing today did. Personally I feel that these execs stole from their stock holders and their employees, and now they are stealing money from the American people by taking tax payer money and still paying outrageous bonuses to retain these "quality" people that have run the companies in the ground. I have never heard of rewarding a person for not doing there job. If I own a company and an employee doesn't do their job they lose their job, they sure as heck don't get a raise and bonus.
Also, I don't think that the government should have stepped in when they did. If they would have let the first company go down, no other company would have even hinted at the possibility of failing. This is a country of free enterprise, not government controlled companies. Right now the government has too much say so and control over private companies. Also I don't think that to keep throwing money into these companies especially without very strict rules as to what the CEO's can do with the money, which should have been not to pay ANY bonuses, as well as cutting top pay and expenses, not cutting lower jobs, was not a smart idea. The government, although may be well intended, but to me they are going about it backwards. They cannot try to keep the life boat floating with a small band-aid when in fact it needs a full body cast. The way to get our economy growing again is to have more people working, which means to create more jobs, in turn, that means that we as a country needs to actually make products. We cannot be a service country and not make products. If the government wants to give money and incentives to American companies it needs to be for companies that make products in THIS country, not one that imports its products. I think that what we have done to future generations is outrageous.
If you are reading this then you must want to read my thoughts and I hope that you understand why I feel the way that I do. Also help support America and buy American and buy local, if the government can't stimulate our economy then it is up to us as Americans to take our country back and grow it ourselves.

OK HERE IS MY TAKE ON A MAJOR PART OF THE FINANCIAL CRISIS IN THIS COUNTRY RIGHT NOW. THERE ARE TOO MANY PEOPLE WITHOUT JOBS AND TOO MANY COMPANIES STILL LEAVING. IN THE SMALL TOWN I WORK IN ONE OF THE MAJOR EMPLOYERS THAT HAS BEEN AROUND FOR YEARS IS CLOSING AND 175 PEOPLE ARE OUT OF WORK. WELL GUESS WHAT THEY WILL NO LONGER BE PAYING TAXES, WHICH I THINK IS HIGHWAY ROBBERY ANYWAYS. WITH ALL OF THE PEOPLE THAT LAVE BEEN "LAID-OFF"-MEANING COMPANIES WENT OVERSEAS TO MAKE MORE PROFIT OFF OF THOSE WHO HELPED THE COMPANY GROW AND THRIVE, YET GUESS WHAT THOSE SAME PEOPLE ARE NO LONGER GOING TO BE ABLE TO BUY THESE PRODUCTS BECAUSE THE GREEDY HIGHER UP'S PUT THEM OUT OF WORK. IF WE STOP IMPORTING THE THINGS THAT COULD BE MADE IN THIS COUNTRY AND PUT AMERICAN'S BACK TO WORK, GUESS WHAT THAT WOULD CREATE REVENUE AND MORE TAXES WOULD BE PAID, THEN WE COULD ACTUALLY PAY OFF THE INTERNATIONAL DEBT AND THIS COUNTRY WOULD BE SELF-SUFFICIENT. I ALSO DO NOT THINK THATCEO'S SHOULD MAKE THE MILLIONS THAT THEY DO AND GET SEVERANCE PACKAGES THAT ARE WORTH MORE THAN THE COST OF A SMALL COUNTRY. IT ALSO SEEMS LIKE THAT THE MORE THE CEO MAKES THE WORSE OFF THE COMPANY IS, I WONDER WHY? THE HIGHER-UPS ARE THE ONES RUINING THE COMPANIES THAT WERE ONCE THRIVING AND A VIABLE PART OF THE COUNTRY. I DON'T KNOW HOW THEY SLEEP AT NIGHT, KNOWING THAT THEY ARE SO GREEDY THAT THEY ARE THE CAUSE OF 100'S OF PEOPLE LOSING NOT ONLY THEIR JOBS, BUT ALSO IN MANY CASES THEIR LIFE SAVINGS AND EVERYTHING THAT THEY HAVE WORKED SO HARD TO HAVE.
ALSO PERSONALLY I THINK THAT GOVERNMENT IS GETTING THEIR HANDS IN TOO MUCH OF THE PRIVATE SECTOR. WHICH BEFORE LONG THEY WILL BE IN EVERYTHING AND THERE GOES FREE ENTERPRISE AND OUR DEMOCRATIC SOCIETY.
ALSO, WITH THE AVERAGE SALARY IN THE US BEING AROUND 36000, WHICH I DON'T KNOW TOO MANY PEOPLE WHO MAKE THAT, BUT I THINK THAT IT IS CRAZY THAT THE ELECTED OFFICIALS ARE MAKING OVER 160,000 PER YEAR, PLUS HEALTH CARE AND OTHER BENIFITS. I'M SORRY BUT I THINK THEY NEED A PAY CUT. ALSO I DON'T THINK IT IS RIGHT FOR THEM TO BE ABLE TO VOTE THEMSELVES A PAY RAISE OR GET LIFETIME BENIFITS.
THE WELFARE SYSTEM NEEDS TO BE REVAMPED. I KNOW PEOPLE NEED HELP, BUT THERE COMES A TIME WHEN YOU HAVE TO STAND ON YOUR OWN AND TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF. TOO MANY PEOPLE HAVE BECOME TOO RELIANT ON THE GOVERNMENT TO TAKE CARE OF THEM, BUT IF WE BROUGHT JOBS BACK FROM OVERSEAS AND PUT PEOPLE TO WORK THEN THEY WOULDN'T NEED THE HELP.
IT IS NOT OUR JOB TO DEVELOPE OTHER NATIONS BY BANKRUPTING OUR OWN. I KNOW THAT PROBABLE SOUNDS COLD. THAT IS EXACTLY WHERE WE ARE HEADED. WHEN I WAS IN COLLEGE ALL I HERAD WAS THAT TECHNOLOGY WAS THE NEW WAY FOR THE AMERICAN PEOPLE TO MAKE A LIVING, IN THEROY MAYBE, BUT WHEN YOU HAVE NOTHING TO SELL, NO GOODS AT ALL THE ECONOMY CANNOT SURVIVE. YOU CANNOT IMPORT MORE THAN YOU EXPORT AND REMAIN A STRONG NATION AND A SUCCESSFUL NATION. BUT WHAT GETS EVEN WORSE IS THAT WE ARE IMPORTING OUR SERVICE WORK ALSO, IT IS REDICULIOUS THAT A CALL CENTER FOR AN AMERICAN COMPANY WITH A CALL MADE WITHIN THE UNITED STATES IS NOT ANSWERED IN THE US. THERE ARE SO MANY THINGS THAT ARE NOT RIGHT, BUT COULD CHANGE IN AN INSTANT. EVERYONE NEEDS TO STAND UP AND MAKE WASHINGTON LISTEN, WE NEED TO BRING JOBS BACK HOME.

JUSTICE
I SEE SO MANY PROBLEMS WITH OUR JUSTICE SYSTEM. I UNDERSTAND THE CONCEPT OF INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY, BUT WHEN SOMEONE IS CHARGED WITH MURDER, WHY SHOULD THEY HAVE THE CHANCE TO BOND OUT OF JAIL. IF SOMEONE HAS BEEN CONVICTED OF A VIOLENT CRIME THEN THEY SHOULD PAY. A SLAP ON THE WRIST IS FOR A CHILD LEARNING RIGHT FROM WRONG, NOT SOMEONE THAT HAS TAKEN ANOTHER LIFE. THERE IS ONE CHANCE TO BE A PRODUCTIVE MEMBER OF SOCIETY AND IF YOU FAIL, THEN USUALLY THERE CAN BE NO REHABILITATION. FOR THOSE WHO ARE IN GANGS THEY GET THEIR THRILLS BY TORTURING AND KILLING. THERE IS A QUICK WAY TO GET RID OF GANGS, PUBLIC EXECUTIONS, AND ACTUALLY PUNISHING THEM FOR THEIR CRIMES. THERE SHOULD BE NO PAROLE, NO LENIENCY, AND NO PRIVILEGES FOR THOSE WHO COMMIT CRIMES. WHAT IS THE JUSTICE WHEN SOMEONE COMMITS A CRIME AND THEY HAVE MORE LUXURIES THAT A HARD WORKING GOOD MEMBER OF SOCIETY. ALSO IF THE MAJORITY OF THE GANGS ARE AS A RESULT OF THE ILLEGALS FROM MEXICO AND CENTRAL/SOUTH AMERICA, THEN GUESS WHAT, CLOSE THE BORDERS AND STOP LETTING THEN INTO OUR COUNTRY. I AM NOT SAYING THAT ALL ILLEGALS ARE GANG BANGERS, THERE ARE THOSE THAT CONTRIBUTE TO SOCIETY, BUT THE ONES THAT HAVE BEEN IN TROUBLE OVER AND OVER AGAIN, THEY NEED TO BE RETURNED TO THEIR NATIVE COUNTRY AND PROSECUTED THERE. THEIR COUNTRY NEEDS TO PAY FOR THEM TO STAY IN JAIL, NOT MY TAX DOLLARS.
OUR LAWS NEED TO BE FOLLOWED AND NOT RE-WRITTEN BECAUSE A CERTAIN GROUP OF PEOPLE SAY THAT IT DOESN'T WORK FOR THEM. THERE ARE 10 BASIC LAWS THAT ARE THE MOST IMPORTANT AND THERE IS NO REASON THAT THEY SHOULD BE CHANGED. IF OUR JUDGES THAT WERE ELECTED TO PROTECT US ACTUALLY PROSECUTED THOSE THAT COMMITTED THE CRIMES THEN WE OUR COUNTRY WOULD ACTUALLY BEEN SEEN AS A STRONG COUNTRY, AND NOT A COUNTRY THAT GIVES INTO PRESSURE FROM EVERY GROUP BECAUSE THEY ARE AFRAID THAT THEY MIGHT OFFEND SOMEONE.
PEOPLE NEED TO BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE FOR THEIR CRIMES NO MATTER WHAT GROUP THEY COME FROM
